Gary MAAS (Narre Warren South) (14:36): (1764) My constituency question is for the Minister for Roads and Road Safety and concerns the upgrade of the Thompsons Road and Berwick-Cranbourne Road intersection. Minister, how will the upgrade to this intersection assist people in my community of Narre Warren South to get around safely and more efficiently? I was pleased recently to visit the site of the Thompsons Road and Berwick-Cranbourne Road intersection alongside the member for Cranbourne and to meet some of the hardworking crew and to see the progress there. Works are well underway on the upgrade, with the old roundabout now removed to make way for new, much-needed traffic lights. The work so far is really impressive. It was fantastic to see this road investment by our state government and federal Labor government as well. It was great to see those works taking shape, and I look forward to sharing the minister’s response with my community.
