Tim RICHARDSON (Mordialloc – Minister for Local Government, Minister for Consumer Affairs, Minister for Renters) (10:04): It is action packed in Mordialloc at the moment, with level crossing removal works and a brand new Mordialloc train station. It is part of a series of upgrades and ways that we are building a better community in Kingston and Greater Dandenong. When we look at the transformation in our schools – Mordialloc College, Parkdale Secondary College in recent times; we have had upgrades at Chelsea, at Edithvale, at Chelsea Heights; we have had upgrades at Parktone Primary School; and of course we have had upgrades to all of our Catholic schools in our local community. We are building better in education in our early childhood sector, with upgrades to our local kindergartens at Elonera, at Chelsea Heights kindergarten, at Chelsea kindergarten, and recently we have announced upgrades at Aspendale Gardens kindergarten. We are building better roads locally, with the Mordialloc Freeway delivering such substantial improvements in outcomes, getting people home to their relatives and the people that they love safer and sooner. We are making the Frankston train line level crossing free, with level crossing removals from Chelsea through to Cheltenham in the electorates I have had the privilege of serving over that time. We are building brand new train stations, and of course we are returning the Frankston train line to the city loop with the Melbourne Metro rail tunnel. In Keysborough South, a beautiful community I am proud to represent, we have delivered the Keysborough Community Hub. We have delivered the upgrades to Keysborough Gardens Primary School, and we have more buildings in the works. We just keep delivering, and we will keep fighting hard for Mordialloc residents.
