Jess WILSON (Kew – Leader of the Opposition) (14:14): My question is to the Premier. The Premier has said he will call a royal commission into the construction sector. Can the Premier guarantee that the terms of reference will not be limited to the construction sector but will also examine the Labor government’s design, procurement and delivery of Big Build projects?
Ben CARROLL (Niddrie – Premier) (14:14): I have made it very clear that the terms of reference will cover top-tier business, labour hire, trade unions and everyone else involved. They will be exhaustive terms of reference. I will not sit here as a political leader doing a year 9 essay on crime and a year 9 essay on a royal commission that does not pass the test.
Jess WILSON (Kew – Leader of the Opposition) (14:15): Will the Premier guarantee that his royal commission will investigate not just what bikies, criminals and union officials did on the Big Build but the decisions Labor premiers and ministers made that allowed it to happen?
