Vicki WARD (Eltham – Minister for Public Transport, Minister for Creative Industries) (10:02): Diamond Creek Football Netball Club is a great club with community at its heart, and holding a First Nations round game as well as their recent community day shows how important inclusion is to this club. I thank president Daniel Baird and the committee for their leadership. For the First Nations round DCFNC produced beautiful jumpers commemorating First Nations, as well as holding a smoking ceremony and learning more about First Nations and their important contribution to marngrook and the AFL. Congratulations also to the senior football team on its strong victory over Hurstbridge on the day. Their community day against Greensborough was a wonderful opportunity for locals to come together at Coventry, with activities for children, as well as sausages and support from Bendigo Bank.
