With the Carroll Labor government’s new and additional investments into our bus network, how much time will passengers save on their bus trips around Tarneit and Hoppers Crossing? There are a lot of exciting new developments happening to our bus network across Tarneit and Hoppers Crossing. West Tarneit station will open this Sunday, the 13th, and with it over 1100 weekly services will be added to the Tarneit bus network through routes 182 and 186. In December last year we introduced new bus routes 154 and 194 and also upgraded route 153, adding an additional 1500 weekly trips across the three lines. Those additional services built upon changes made in July last year when the Labor government extended operating hours and added extra weekly trips across routes 170, 180, 190 and 192. Locals will remember a time when buses came every 40 minutes. These upgrades will make sure the buses come every 20 minutes across the network.
