 Josh BULL (Sunbury) (14:31): (1821) My question is to the Minister for Environment. Minister, when can residents in my electorate expect a response to the Legislative Council Economy and Infrastructure Committee’s report into the development of waste to energy? As members will know, the report made 53 findings and 33 recommendations that went to improved accountability and responsibility for those who want to build such facilities and further went to the significant community consultation that is required. I remain deeply opposed to such a facility within my electorate due to its proximity to homes and local residents. I want to thank the committee for their work, and I look forward to the minister’s timely response.
