 Chris CREWTHER (Mornington) (10:15): What a weekend for local sport on 5 and 6 September. Congrats to the Mornington Pirates, A1 grand final premiers for 2026; Mornington Soccer Club’s under-13s, champions after an undefeated season; and the club’s women’s side, champions with a perfect away record. I also congratulate Mornington Football Netball Club’s under-19s on progressing straight to the grand final and the Mount Eliza Football Netball Club’s C-grade on a thrilling 59–57 finals victory. Also it was great to join Liberal candidate for Hastings Frank Schiefler to watch the Langley versus Mount Eliza game in Mornington.
