 Pauline RICHARDS (Cranbourne) (14:36): (1795) My constituency question is to the Premier. How will the Victorian government support the Nepalese Australian community, many of whom live in Cranbourne, in the context of the floods devastating the region? I want to take the opportunity to acknowledge the destructive floods sweeping across Nepal. Cranbourne is home to a strong and resilient Nepalese community, and I know their thoughts are with their family, friends and loved ones back home. The emotional impact can be devastating too. I am conscious of the loss of other Australians who may have been travelling through the region. They are in our thoughts, and we will be by their side. I look forward to the Premier’s response.
