Mental health system
Tim McCURDY (Ovens Valley) (09:55): Mental health support continues to be at the bottom of Labor’s agenda. Throughout my communities in the Ovens Valley, we continue to be failed by the Carroll Labor government as revelations of suicide clusters exist. Mental health support has not been properly addressed, and Victorians are paying the price. This week marks 2000 days since the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System report was handed down, and still our farmers, our youth and our regional communities have been abandoned. Labor has admitted that the mental health system is broken in Victoria yet still refuses to support and properly fund our mental health needs. Labor has failed us again.
