Lily D’AMBROSIO (Mill Park) (10:07): On Monday night I attended the South Morang Scout Group’s annual report and presentation at The Lakes South Morang College. Scouting thrives there because of volunteers like group leader Nicole Black, treasurer Belinda Hooper and commissioner Tim Purdy, whose commitment I have seen firsthand. The group has more than doubled in size in the past year, helping more young people learn values like courage and resilience. Congratulations to the South Morang Scouts on a successful year and to all the volunteers, parents and kids who made it possible.
