 Anthony CIANFLONE (Pascoe Vale) (13:13): On 31 August I was delighted to welcome Senator Jana Stewart to visit Coburg High School to check out the progress of the school’s landmark $17.8 million technology hub. With works well under way and much of the final fit-out and finishing touches now being applied, the building will create capacity for an additional 250-plus students and deliver world-class spaces for woodwork, design, textiles, food tech, media studies, podcasts, a radio room and much more, including magnificent new landscaping. Thank you to Trent McCarthy, the school council president; Brent Houghton, the principal; and the whole school community for the very warm welcome.
