Issue:

This petition of residents in Victoria draws to the attention of the Legislative Assembly that Yarck–Gobur Road is a vital route linking Yarck, Terip, Ruffy, Creightons Creek and Euroa. Increased heavy vehicle traffic has placed significant strain on this narrow road, creating safety concerns for residents, school buses, emergency services and freight operators. Murrindindi Shire Council cannot fund the required upgrades without Victorian Government assistance.

Action:

The petitioners therefore request that the Legislative Assembly calls on the Government to partner with Murrindindi Shire Council to fund safety upgrades to Yarck–Gobur Road.
