Nina TAYLOR (Albert Park) (13:11): It was also a pleasure to be able to attend Krishna Janmashtami, the celebration of Lord Krishna’s birthday at the ISKCON templein Albert Park. I will pay credit to the ISKCON temple. They were able to facilitate literally thousands of people to come and pay their honour and respect. There was singing, there was fasting, love, kindness, compassion, beautiful values and sharing, and I should say that they feed thousands of people every week – very generous. So I want to commend their generosity but also their facilitation of such a beautiful celebration and unity of spirit.
