 Daniela DE MARTINO (Monbulk) (10:28): I was elated to officially open the Angliss Hospital’s redevelopment and expansion, the biggest investment our government has made in the Monbulk electorate. This $112 million investment has resulted in the complete transformation of this much-loved hospital, and not a single day goes by when someone does not tell me they were born there or their children were. The new 32 inpatient beds, four new operating theatres and allied health areas are state of the art and now match the quality of care and professionalism of the extraordinary nurses, doctors and staff at the Angliss. I could not be happier for them or prouder of what we have built there. Public health care is in our DNA. It is what Labor governments do.
