 Tim BULL (Gippsland East) (10:23): I want to put on record yet again that Bairnsdale needs a new hospital and that stage 1 needs to be the new emergency department. This week with our new candidate Gemma Rendell we launched a petition to gain community support, which I think all sides should agree to and support this project. The ED cannot cater for current demand, let alone future demand. It is a major factor in ambulance ramping, and I encourage everyone in the electorate to sign it.
