Anasina GRAY-BARBERIO (Northern Metropolitan) (12:57): (2453) My constituency question is for the Minister for Environment. My constituents at the Yarra Jets Football Club use the Fairlea sporting precinct in Yarra Bend Park, which is managed by Parks Victoria. However, the precinct is in desperate need of upgrades, and the community is concerned about a lack of coordination between state government agencies in relation to the Eastern Freeway upgrade and the Thomas Embling Hospital expansion. Local clubs want assurance that these projects will not reduce sporting space, compromise future investment or undermine opportunities to meet growing community demand. Minister, will you commit to protecting Fairlea sporting precinct from the impacts of surrounding developments and work with Parks Victoria to deliver the upgrades needed to make the precinct fit for purpose?
