 Michael GALEA (South-Eastern Metropolitan) (12:52): (2448) My question is for the Minister for Health. We know that cancer touches the lives of many families across Victoria and indeed across Melbourne’s south-east, and access to high-quality treatment, research and support can make an enormous difference. I recently had the privilege of attending a forum, alongside the members for Ashwood and Clarinda, of the Monash Partners Comprehensive Cancer Consortium, which brought together researchers, clinicians, health professionals and consumers to discuss how strong collaboration can improve cancer care. Minister, how is the Labor government supporting cancer research and translating the amazing work that they do into better care for people in my electorate?
