 Anthony CIANFLONE (Pascoe Vale) (14:39): (1779) My constituency question is for the Treasurer. What cost-of-living measures is the Victorian Labor government continuing to provide for people across Pascoe Vale, Coburg and Brunswick West to help make life easier and more affordable, and how many members of my community have been accessing these respective initiatives? We know the ongoing impacts of global conflict, volatility, inflation and uncertainty continue to affect the cost of living for all Australians and indeed Victorians. But the one thing that is certain is that our Victorian Labor government will always be there to fight for working Victorians and to support local households with practical measures to help make life easier – the 20 per cent car rego rebate until 31 August, half-price public transport until the end of the year, free public transport for young people and seniors, free L- and P-plates, free rego for apprentices, access to the Servo Saver app and cheaper fuel, the free chemist care program, the virtual emergency department, free Medicare urgent care clinics, free TAFE with more than 80 free TAFE courses, free study for nursing and teaching, free dental in schools, free glasses for kids, free school breakfasts, free kinder and so many other initiatives, like the free energy default offer, the hot water solar panel rebate and the energy upgrades program.
