 Kat THEOPHANOUS (Northcote) (09:53): Northcote has been celebrating. On Monday I joined the Premier at Alphington Primary School where students talked about the Smile Squad, a Labor initiative giving free dental care to kids. The Smile Squad has visited over 1000 public schools since it launched and treated more than 175,000 students. Now Labor is going even further. A re-elected Labor government will open 10 free public dental clinics across Victoria, making dental care free for every Victorian. What an extraordinary policy that is. Preventative health, cost of living – this will make a tangible difference to so many lives in my community.
