James NEWBURY (Brighton) (09:46): Hampton RSL is a cornerstone in Bayside, having grown to 800 members. We recently hosted Major General Jason Blain and Victoria Cross recipient Daniel Keighran for a Long Tan–Derapet service dinner. Daniel spoke openly about drawing fire on 24 August. It was also special to meet Tanya, his fiancée, and hear about their November wedding plans. They deserve a wonderful life together.
