 Danny PEARSON (Essendon) (10:03): A big shout-out to the mighty Marby Army, in particular the Maribyrnong Park under-12s for their stunning premiership win against Dallas. Maribyrnong Park 7, 3, 45 defeated Dallas 4, 1, 25. This team has had a wonderful season under coach Glen Agresta, assistant coaches Matt Kent, Mel Santonoceto and Rocket, as well as team manager Josephine Agresta. To the boys Louie, 1; Brooklyn, 2; Jude, 3; Michael, 4; Jordan, 5; Nate, 6; Sammy, 7; Ebben, 8; Adrian, 9; Julian, 10; Jacob, 11; Will, 13; Jed, 14; Finn, 22; Jack, 23; Noah, 25; Levi, 31; Isaac, 32; Xavier, 35; Juddy, 37; Gus, 38; Braxton, 41; Omar, 44; and Thomas, 49, congratulations on your fantastic season.

The team was the only junior boys team to deliver a flag for the Marby Army this season, which was an absolutely incredible achievement. Thanks to Jose for all her work in making sure every game in the season went off without a hitch. And to Glen, Matt, Mel and Rocket: thank you so very much for what you have taught the boys this year. You have taught the boys to play the game with dignity, with respect and with so much integrity. Thank you so very much for everything you have done, the training sessions and the games themselves. What these boys have learned is immeasurable. Go Marby!
