 Michael O’BRIEN (Malvern) (09:55): I would like to place on record my congratulations to Malvern City Football Club in my electorate, who have seen their senior men promoted to Victorian Premier League 1 even before the end of the season. This comes off the back of a promotion to VPL ‍2 this year, so it is a double promotion. It is a stunning result and a testament to the huge efforts of the players, the coaches, the supporters and the club itself. Best wishes for the rest of the season and congratulations on your promotion to VPL 1 next year.
