Eildon electorate women’s football
Cindy McLEISH (Eildon) (09:50): There was certainly something to cheer about in Yea on the weekend. The Yea Tigers women’s football team are the 2026 division 2 premiers, defeating Officer to take out the flag. This was an exceptional effort as they were undefeated all year. Congratulations to Healesville under-16 girls, who took out the grand final, coming from behind against Mount Evelyn; great job, girls. The Warburton-Millgrove women’s team missed out on the flag, being runners-up to Mount Evelyn in the division 1 league.
