 Tim McCURDY (Ovens Valley) (09:43): I joined the Rural City of Wangaratta mayor Irene Grant recently for the launch of the second mini Woolies supermarket in Wangaratta. The mini Woolies program is a training facility located within the Villa Maria Catholic Homes on Rowan Street, and it helps young people with disabilities to be trained for future roles in our communities. The skill sets learned at mini Woolies prepare these young people for the workforce, perhaps in Woolworths itself or other vocations. I want to commend Woolworths for the significant program, one that has outstanding outcomes and makes a real difference for young people who may struggle for employment opportunities.
