 John PESUTTO (Hawthorn) (10:35): I would like to recognise the Camberwell Dragons basketball association for their leadership in promoting mental health and wellbeing within our community. In particular I would like to acknowledge Andrew Johnstone and the team for their great work. During the recent Mental Health Awareness Week held at Camberwell Grammar School, the Camberwell Dragons brought together two key speakers, along with players, coaches, referees, volunteers and families, to encourage conversations about resilience, mental health and seeking support when needed. Importantly, there was a focus on the power of positive self-talk, not just as the basis for better mental health but also as a way to improve performance.
