Richard RIORDAN (Polwarth) (14:40): (1846) My question this afternoon is for the Minister for Health, and my question is a simple one: Minister, will you match the coalition’s commitment to a $15 million upgrade to the urgent care service at Colac Area Health? Recently I was pleased to welcome the Shadow Minister for Health Georgie Crozier to Colac to offer this great incentive to Colac Area Health to fully refit and refurb the current urgent care service. The urgent care service, as it stands today, was built for around 6500 presentations. There are some nearly 12,000 presentations today. This is a growing service in a growing region in a growing community. Urgent care, of course, carries much of the burden of immediate health care in rural and regional communities. It is a great service. It is important that it is fit for purpose into the future. Minister, are you prepared to back what the Liberals are prepared to offer and a fresh start for Victoria?
