Vicki WARD (Eltham – Minister for Public Transport, Minister for Creative Industries) (10:09): I thank my electorate office team, Lucy, Nick, Ruby, Tim, Sam and Katherine, for all your hard work, dedication, deep care and kindness over the last year. Your work is extraordinary, and I am lucky to have your support. Thank you to my ministerial team this year who have worked around the clock to support me and the work of our government, such smart, talented people: Dave, Jim, Ruby, Julian, Anna, Josh, Hana, Harrison, Liv, Laurent, Julie – and her lollies – and Penny. Thank you to Bridget, Parliament’s clerks, attendants, Hansard, catering, cleaners and security staff for all you do to keep this place running. Thank you for your professionalism and work, which often goes unseen. And I thank my community for giving me the extraordinary gift of representing them for the last four years. As a government we have achieved amazing things for my community in the time that we have been here, whether it is the duplication of the Hurstbridge line, whether it is all of the work that we have done modernising our local schools, whether it is the upgrade to Fitzsimons Lane or whether it is the walking paths that we have extended to Hurstbridge.
