Juliana ADDISON (Wendouree) (14:35): (1833) My constituency question is for the Minister for Renters, and I am delighted that he is in the house at the moment for me to ask this question. As a part of the Victorian government’s renters rights program, a new service has been established in Ballarat to strengthen, support and improve access to services that help renters understand and exercise their rights. Many renters in my electorate are seeking advice about tenancy issues, rental standards and dispute resolution but are not always aware of the assistance available to them. How is Victoria’s renters rights program improving access to information and support services for renters across my electorate of Wendouree? And let me be very clear: the Victorian Labor government has delivered over 150 rental reforms to make renting fairer and safer for Victorian renters, while the Liberal–One Nation coalition has not committed to protecting renters at all. The choice is really clear: if you are a renter, vote Labor.
