 Brad ROWSWELL (Sandringham) (14:14): My question is to the Premier. Will taxpayers fund the legal bills of former premiers Daniel Andrews and Jacinta Allan for the royal commission into corruption on the Big Build?

 Ben CARROLL (Niddrie – Premier) (14:15): Let us be very clear. The successive arrangements on both sides of politics will apply to this royal commission.

 Brad ROWSWELL (Sandringham) (14:15): I am pleased the Premier has confirmed that they will. Why is it Carroll government policy to pay the legal bills for former premiers, who each receive $300,000 a year from a taxpayer-funded pension?

 Ben CARROLL (Niddrie – Premier) (14:15): The royal commission has commenced its inquiries, and it would be fully appropriate that I do not make any comment on or interfere in anything and let it get on and do its job.
