Wayne FARNHAM (Narracan) (14:34): (1832) My question is for the Minister for Planning. Will the minister give the community of Bunyip North the same opportunities and considerations in regard to the recent environment effects statement submission for the Bunyip North quarry? The response timeframe is not the standard 40 days that other developments of this type in the past have received. Also, they seek the same grant moneys available so they can respond to the EES report, with 115 recommendations about the environmental responsibilities of the people that are trying to deliver this quarry, yet the government has made no money available for that community to put those submissions in. This is a significant and sizeable quarry in Bunyip North that will impact the community out there, and they are just seeking the same opportunities as other submissions have had for this type of development. I ask the minister to give this urgent consideration.
