Gabrielle DE VIETRI (Richmond) (14:33): (1774) Earlier this month I had the pleasure of visiting the smart, passionate year 6 students at Clifton Hill Primary School. They had some questions for the Premier and ministers, and I want to share some of them today. Students asked for stronger laws to address climate change and stop government corruption. Lots of students asked the Premier to stop the demolition of public housing in our community and make sure that everyone has a safe place to live. They want greener streets. They want cheaper soft serve, more parks, bike lanes and improvements to local pedestrian crossings to make their journey to school safer. And so many students asked for free public transport for everyone. So my question is to the Minister for Public Transport: will you listen to the students at Clifton Hill Primary School and make public transport permanently free for everyone?
