 Peter WALSH (Murray Plains) (14:29): (1770) My question is for the Minister for Water and is in relation to Lake Eppalock. What information can the minister provide to the people of Rochester as to how Goulburn–Murray Water will be managing Lake Eppalock differently this year compared to the floods of 2022? In 2022 nearly all of the homes and businesses in Rochester, including the hospital, were flooded. The community is still recovering, and not all the houses have been repaired. Lake Eppalock is currently 93 per cent full, and heavy rain is falling over the area this morning. The whole town is so stretched to the max that they may flood again. Please, Minister, can you respond to their request asap?
