Pauline RICHARDS (Cranbourne) (13:20): I had a terrific weekend. It started on Friday night at the Amazing Grace, and I am going to take the opportunity to thank Adam Sadiqzai and his family for the extraordinary hospitality that they extend. It was a great day hitting the doors on Saturday, talking to people about free dental for all Victorians. Then on Saturday night I attended the Cranbourne CFA dinner. I would like to congratulate our captain Deb Jackson, the first woman to lead our terrific team, and her extraordinary crew of volunteers. I am so proud of the people who make up our local CFA, and I feel particularly grateful to them for putting their lives and their time on the line. I am always happy to spend time with other emergency services, so this is an opportunity to say a great thanks to the Cranbourne SES unit. It is always good to spend time with them. Thanks to the Amstel Club for hosting – club of the year, they were, and they are not far from my place. The hospitality was amazing and, as always, the food was sublime. We are such a strong community in Cranbourne. Our emergency services and our clubs are what make us strong.
