 John LISTER (Werribee) (13:18): I want to thank Corpus Netball for inviting me along to training to see the new equipment purchased through the Labor government’s sporting club grants program. This funding has gone so far in helping our local sports clubs reduce the cost of participating for families across my electorate. Labor has backed our local kids and up-and-coming athletes, from opening up more school facilities in the western suburbs for sport to our Get Active Kids voucher program. Sporting club grants are open again, so I would encourage local teams to apply and speak to my office if they need support.
