 Chris COUZENS (Geelong) (10:02): On another matter, the Geelong Running Festival is coming up on 20 September. Organised by Lee Troop, three-time Olympian, this will be the first time this event is held in Geelong. I am proud that the Carroll Labor government is supporting this significant event. I extend my sincere thanks to Lee Troop for his dedication and hard work in making this a reality. It is great to see Lee’s commitment to ensuring that the marathon is an inclusive event. The event will include a marathon, half marathon and community 6.5-kilometre event, along with a kids 1 ‍mile and an all-abilities 1 mile.
