It was wonderful to see the council tackling two important local issues for young people: youth civic participation and, of course, youth mental health. The presentation and the projects that they worked on were showcased here in Parliament House yesterday and delivered by the young people, and their incredible teamwork was demonstrated. I am really proud of the working group for supporting their confidence and their leadership skills. I want to thank all of our youth council members: Audrey Lo, Sophia Mykhaylyk, Aarshiya Khillan, Minh Trinh, Ethan Lu, Kirthik Ramachandran, Neili Perera, Edward Iager and, of course, Maria Ansari. Best of luck for your journey. I know you will go far. You have demonstrated great leadership and confidence in working and collaborating on important issues.
