Cindy McLEISH (Eildon) (09:43): There are some people who, through their working life, just get things done and make a meaningful and long-lasting impact on people and communities. Kim Chadband of Yea is one of these people. I want to acknowledge and highlight the impact Kim has had in the Murrindindi shire and regional Victoria. Through her roles with government, particularly Regional Development Victoria and the shire, Kim has helped people and organisations navigate what can be a complex and frustrating system. Whether it is support on an individual level for those impacted by fires or floods or helping community groups and organisations optimise their chance for grants, Kim has been there. She gets it. She will be greatly missed as she rides off into the sunset of retirement. I am sure she will have a great time.
