Bairnsdale hospital
Tim BULL (Gippsland East) (09:51): Bairnsdale needs a new hospital, and it needs to start with a new emergency department. I have had a petition out on that for a number of weeks now, and there are about 3000 signatures on it, about 1500 online and 1500 hard copy. I encourage my community to get behind this push to have a new hospital in Bairnsdale. We need a facility that is going to cater for future population growth and stop the ambulance ramping that we have.
