Lemnos Gallipoli memorial service
Nina TAYLOR (Albert Park) (15:45): Also, I attended the Lemnos Gallipoli commemoration at Lemnos Square at the weekend. It was great to see Spencer and Scarlet from Albert Park College – they delivered some beautiful poems. It is really about honouring the nurses and soldiers during World War I and also the beautiful people of Lemnos, who really took care of Australians, fostering great relationships between Greece and Australia into the future. I thank my friend Lee Tarlamis OAM for his contribution.
