Pauline RICHARDS (Cranbourne) (15:29): On another matter, the Casey Warriors are amazing. On Saturday afternoon I joined hundreds of members of the Casey Warriors in honouring their president Numa Daniels. It was certainly an event for the ages and the best kept secret in town. Numa was brought out onto the field with his beloved wife and family, where the terrific young players performed an emotional and moving haka. They then unveiled the name of the stadium. The Casey Warriors stadium will now be named the Numa Daniels stadium, as appropriate, and I want to add my voice of appreciation and thanks to Numa Daniels and his family for all they have done for our community – and especially a great thankyou to the Casey Warriors. You are a great team. You absolutely enhance our community every day.
