Nicole WERNER (Warrandyte) (15:27): Soon, in just 100 days, Victorians finally get to get rid of this second unelected Premier and a Labor government that has let them down time and again. The good news is that the Liberals and Nationals have a plan to deliver a fresh start for Victoria, and you are going to want to hear it. We have a plan to lower the cost of living by cutting taxes on schools, GPs and stamp duty for first-home buyers, to lower land tax and to axe the emergency services levy. We have a plan for safer communities, with 3000 more police; tougher bail and sentencing with ‘break bail, face jail’ and adult time for adult crime; and reopening the 40 police stations Labor has closed. We have a plan for $5 billion to fix 1 million potholes, so that regional roads stop looking like the surface of the moon. We have a plan for better finances with honest and open budgets, a live spending tracker and a 10-year economic plan to deliver a real cash surplus by 2032 and end Labor’s debt crisis. We have a plan for home ownership by fast-tracking land release, cutting the red tape stopping new builds and expanding the inner city to get more townhouses and apartments built close to jobs. We have a plan for all of this and much more. All Labor has delivered is $15 billion worth of corruption, nearly $200 billion of debt and zero accountability. Enough is enough. Vote them out this November.
