 The SPEAKER (14:43): I have reviewed the constituency questions from yesterday. The member for Point Cook asked the minister to provide an update and then rephrased to ask the minister to provide information. Both of these requests were for an action from the minister, which is not permitted. I therefore rule the member’s question out of order. The member for Morwell asked the Premier for an action, which he rephrased as a question, but his question was to ask when the Premier would admit to a proposition, which is seeking an opinion. Rulings from the Chair states that questions should not seek an opinion. Therefore I rule the member’s question out of order.

Bridget Vallence: Speaker, I have a point of order in relation to unanswered questions, one of which is now 15 months overdue, to the Treasurer, on Labor’s incorrect land tax bills to my constituents.

The SPEAKER: Please just state the question and who it is to.

Bridget Vallence: The questions that are overdue and unanswered by the Treasurer are questions on notice 2421, 3237, 3238, 3239, 3240, 3241, 3242, 3256 and 3340. Questions on notice that are overdue and unanswered by the now Minister for Economic Development are 3408, 3412 and 3413. Questions on notice that are overdue to the Minister for Finance are 3420, 3422, 3423, 3427, 3430, 3431, 3435, 3436, 3439, 3502, 3503, 3504 and 3505. A question on notice overdue to the Minister for Skills and Training is 3453. Questions on notice overdue to the Minister for Jobs are 3484, 3485, 3486, 3487, 3488, 3489 and 3510. A question that is overdue to the Minister for Education is question on notice 3210. A question overdue to the Minister for Health is question on notice 3317. Questions overdue to the Minister for Planning are questions on notice 3282, 3283 and 3284. A question overdue to the Premier is question on notice 3316. I have raised these points of order a number of times. I would appreciate responses for my constituents. I will pass these to the clerks.
