 Iwan WALTERS (Greenvale) (10:41): I want to congratulate the Kolbe Catholic College community for the sod turn of the second stage of the St Catherine of Bologna campus but also for their recognition in the Herald Sun last week for the outstanding teaching and pastoral leadership that that school provides to every single student. They are at the forefront of evidence-based practice, and they are making a really important impact on the lives of students who need it the most. Many families have sent their children to Kolbe because of the educational opportunity it provides. But also these are families who are new to Australia, often from backgrounds of trauma and persecution, so the pastoral care and the educational leadership that Kolbe provides is so important.
