 Roma BRITNELL (South-West Coast) presented a petition bearing 35 signatures:

Issue:

The residents of Heywood and surrounding areas are concerned about motorists speeding through the town, which poses a safety risk to pedestrians and other motorists and reduces the amenity of the town.

Action:

The petitioners therefore call on the government to reduce the speed to 40km in the main street of Heywood.

Ordered that petition be considered tomorrow.
