Greenvale electorate
Iwan WALTERS (Greenvale) (12:51): (1135) My question is for the Minister for Public and Active Transport. It was great to be joined by the minister in Greenvale just last week to discuss the important investments we are making in vital transport infrastructure for our growing community, including stage 2 of the Mickleham Road upgrade and the expansion and enhancement of bus route 543. Minister, following the completion of extensive planning to identify the new route and new stop locations, how will the work now being undertaken to procure new buses and additional drivers, to construct new stops and to launch the route benefit residents in the Greenvale community, especially those living in the Aspect estate and other areas of Greenvale’s north, which will be connected to the public transport network very soon for the very first time?
