Narracan electorate

Wayne FARNHAM (Narracan) (14:46): (806) My question today is to the Premier. What guarantee will the Premier give that state parks will remain state parks and no new national parks will be created? The Premier recently told a bush summit that she would not padlock state parks and would allow activities such as dog walking, dirt bike riding, detecting and prospecting to continue but stopped short of clarifying if her government would recommend the creation of new national parks. This affects my electorate, being that two-thirds of the electorate of Narracan is actually state park at this point in time. This is also in contradiction to what is being studied at the moment by the Minister for Environment, who is doing studies into turning my state parks into national parks. I am asking the Premier to clarify her intention. Are my parks going to be national parks or remain state parks?
