Bentleigh Secondary College

Nick STAIKOS (Bentleigh) (13:25): Back in June I had the pleasure of seeing Bentleigh Secondary College’s production of Freaky Friday, and you all know what that means – congratulations to everyone involved. To the cast: Eboni Crawford, Leela Toth, James Downs, Gabe Yianni, Stanley Khmelevski, Scarlett Moss, Madison Bates, Georgie Guengerich, Madeline Gough, Luca Coombs, Charlie Byrne, Bella Schneider, Nicola Schneider, Reuben Neal, Milly Nankervis, Blake Cunningham, Nathan Joseph, Kaan Bakanyildiz, Billy Rintoul, Cisco Biffin, Ariel Young, Jacquilyn Demirtzis, Matteo Maxwell, Alison Richards, Mia Workman, Erin Wheelan and Asha Ring. To the chorus: Tiana Bray; Violet Cunningham; Charlotte Fitzgerald, who was also in the band; Will Hardy; Skylah Hardwick; Louisa Jones; Jaya Mor; Teagan Sealby; Megan Smith; Liam Smith; Zoe Vines; and Alana Wajnberg. To the band: Noah Clifford; Hugh Dellar; Jack Ellis; Cameron Gabler; Hugo Heppingstone; Timothy Hill, who also helped backstage; Matthew Yianni; Evie Hodges; James Lee; Peter McNair; Olivia Murphy; Matthew Portelli; Tim Rex; and Annie Stone. And finally to the backstage team: Ruby Blundell, Issy Butcher, Oscar Green, Kate Hulme, Sahara Hurlstone De-Har, Many Lin, Leia Marwick, Zara McMahon and Talia Newnham.

It was really a pleasure recently to join the Premier at Bentleigh Secondary College to tour the new performing arts centre. It is fantastic to see it nearly complete. It is going to be a state-of-the-art theatre, and it is fitting that an outstanding school like Bentleigh Secondary College has such a facility.
