Severe weather event
Roma BRITNELL (South-West Coast) (13:09): I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all our emergency services volunteers, particularly in South-West Coast, who have worked tirelessly over the past few weeks as a result of the fierce winds that battered Victoria recently. Victoria’s SES received more than 4000 requests for assistance over the 24-hour period, with the majority of these calls being made for fallen trees and building damage. This was an all-agencies response, so thank you to everyone who assisted our communities throughout this time.
