Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Amendment (Pill Testing) Bill 2024
Introduction and first reading
That I introduce a bill for an act to amend the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981 in relation to drug-checking services and opioid overdose and for other purposes.

Mary-Anne THOMAS (Macedon – Leader of the House, Minister for Health, Minister for Health Infrastructure, Minister for Ambulance Services) (12:07): The bill establishes a legislative framework for the operation of drug checking, otherwise known as pill testing, services in Victoria and automated dispensing machines for naloxone.
