In doing so, I thank the secretariat for their extraordinary efforts over the term of this Parliament. I would like to pay particular respect to Helen Mason, an actual giant of our Parliament that deserves all the respect that this place can afford her. She and her team do extraordinary work every sitting week to prepare for these committee meetings. I also would like to thank all the other members of this chamber and the other for their diligence and professionalism in what is an often unseen but nonetheless very powerful committee in our Parliament. It has been a true honour for me to serve on the Scrutiny of Acts and Regulations Committee over this term of Parliament.
